This Game for Me Means ALOT: My First D&D Experience was Playing it with My HS Friends in the basement Back in the Mid 80's Modules like ( Against the Giants, Keep of the Borderlands ect....) Then of corse D&D Comes to the Computer with the GOLD box Series ( Pool of radience, Curse of the azure Bonds ect....) and Finally BG and BG2 Created with the Infinity Engine!!! I Remember Buying BG From Egghead and Staying up All night just to create My Party....This Game Maybe in a way for me anyway Makes Me Come Full circle Where rolling the Dice will Be Fun Again!!!!!

Just over a week away!

And since Swen said they've started "code lock" over the weekend, I'm betting review copies are already going out. So I'm assuming most of our remaining questions will be answered by reviews early next week, before we can play on the 3rd/4th.

6 MORE DAYS!!!

Also, review copies apparently are going out today. A comprehensive review will obviously take a while, but our favorite content creators should get the answers to a lot of our remaining questions soon.

Next checkpoint: Embargo drop - for a good of new info
Last stop: Full release!!!

Longest week of my life!

Seriously? You're telling us you've played BG3 EA more than you've played Skyrim?

My friends were chatting and one of my buddies had to have surgery because he had a flesh eating parasite in his brain, and one of my other friends said, “IS THAT A BALDUR’S GATE 3 REFERENCE?”

I know you didn't ask me, but I personally played EA not *that* much less then Skyrim (190h vs 120h) and it would probably closer if I wouldn't have been unmotivated to play BG3 ever since they announced the release date. laugh

I mean, I do not actually get why Skyrim of all games would be a good benchmark? I know it is popular, but if you are more into story-driven games you would probably not play it that much.

Also, 750h is a lot if you do not actually have that much time playing.

As a 90s “kid,” I can affirm that it is indeed what the kids say. Though more by my younger contemporaries.

I haven't been this excited for a game since Mass Effect 3...which sadly didn't deliver.
I know BG3 isn't going to backstab us like ME3 did with the infamous RGB colors endings.
The games scope is so huge and the possibilities so many that I have been planning builds and coming up with backstories for my characters for the past 2 years.
My friends must be so annoyed at me for constantly posting about BG3 in our Discord server, lmao. I can't wait for tomorrow, this is going to be an incredible journey for us all!

I haven't been this excited for a game in a long long time. Can't believe BGIII finally got made and I can't wait to see the city in 3D.

Ah yes. Release date is now TOMORROW.

I'm very excited. I hope, I can download tomorrow, then I will be away for a few days and start playing on Monday. I would say, I stay away from this forum for spoilers, but I probably won't.

I wasn't expecting it to drop until early 2024.

Funny thing, those expectations, arent they? smile

Some of us didnt expect BG-3 before 2024 ...
Some of us expected other games in 2019 (when they buyed it, and still have nothing) ...
