I have to learn a little about multiclassing now that it's been confirmed in the game.

I'm wanting to play a White Dragonborn Dark Urge for my first playthrough.

Probably a sorcerer.

I hear that Paladin/Sorcerers are good? Any suggestions?

Is it better to go all Sorcerer? All Paladin?

no one knows the muliclass system because its not out yet... define better?
as a paladin you have a small use for charisma but sorcerer doesn't need armour and even when they do its easy for their scales + Dex to outclass most armours so a sorcerer would only get a few weapon option from pally and thats a bad trade

if you want synergy between classes then Bard and sorcerer work much better

Luke Skywalker: I don't, I don't believe it.
Yoda: That is why you failed.

Sorcadins are one of the most used and most powerful class combinations (those are linked). They usually go 2 ways:

A Sorcerer that can wear heavy armor (Making Dex a dump stat because you no longer need it for AC). So you start paladin get heavy armor allowance, level 2 for smites, and you get a Sorc who is no longer a glass cannon.

A Paladin who starts as a Sorc for a bonus to Con saves to help concentration, lots of spell slots, and the ability to turn spells into bonus actions or dual heal, or make boosts last longer.

(OR) you want to make a Dexadin, in which case a dip into Draconic bloodlines helps offset the loss of heavy armor (one example).

In both cases your primary stat is now Charisma.

I also usually play a Sorcadin and have several 6/14's gathering paper mites. In my first full play through I plan on a 6/6 Sorcadin to get level 12 which gives me both the Aura of protection AND third level spells (not fireball.. Haste).

A well built Sorcadin makes a melee monster, and I prefer that over an armored sorcerer type.

It smells slightly less cheesy than a sorlock.

The storm sorc subclass might be worth looking at on a pally multiclass.

I've been in a few debates with players who swear that storm is the best sorcadin, but I will always disagree. The stormy flashy hoppy stuff only happens when you cast a spell, and smites don't count, which means you're burning smite damage to cosplay Raiden.

Counterpoint I will always make is that it's almost as good if you pick blue or bronze dragon lineage by using sorc points instead of spell slots.

The flying bit is offset by 3 paladin subclasses that get a misty step like ability, and completely loses steam at 14 when draconics get real wings.

For my money it's only Draconic or Divine soul, and only Draconic if you want a Dexadin.

If you are going to argue subclasses that aint in the game, then Aberrant Mind is better. Because it's just better at everything.

touche, how could I have left off the king of the Spell slot...... One of the 2 may show up in the first expansion.. Also hopefully with some Psionic options that don't require we give in to the tadpole in our head.
