Have to say, after watching the livestream that Im very happy about/ Blown away by the Dragonborns!!

Fantastic work and love the Dragonborn alredy!

Glad for all the color options too and not forced into the respective color hues too! The details you can combine is rich.

Though for constructive feedback/ heads- up for until later on, theres is more you can add to truly fulfill a dragonborn/ dragon fan smile Just DONT stress about it now! You deserve some well earned breathers for sure!

So...Some high wishes are that you, Larian adding the 5 different GEM dragonborns from Fizbans Treasury of Dragons, would love to see how you do the different gem scales and add the Gem ancestries to the list of Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer aswell galehearteyes

Gem dragon/borns dmg-elements- resistances for Dragonborn heritage/ sub-race and Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer ancestries
=
Amethyst: Force
Topaz: Necrotic
Emerald: Psychic
Crystal: Radiant
Sapphire: Thunder

Also. Gem dragonborns have floating gem spikes, bits and pieces hovering slightly above their bodies and the gems at least the aforementioned and more " grounded " grounded bits are translucent/ non-opaque. So no need to have all the scales be that but at least the floaty bits.

For you who knows about the lesser known dragon types through the editions f.ex of the Chromatic family. You can create say, Orange, Yellow and Purple ( + other less known Metallic and Gem dragon types/ sub races ) dragonborns even if the breath weapons are off.
-An Orange jungle dragon spits oily salvia tha reacts flammable in air, explodes in water. Fire dmg/ resist is a viable substitute
-An Yellow coastal dragon spews blinding, dehydrating salt. Poison dmg/ resist is a viable substitute
-A Purple mid- higher up ( Deep dragons love the lower u.d ) underdark dragon breathes a beam of energy or plasma. Lighting dmg/ resist is a viable substitute

Also I believe you awesome, hard working modders can make it all realized if need be 👍

Have you seen the latter parts of PFH where The Dark Urge (I feel kinda silly writing this name...) met Jaheira? I noticed a peculiar red gem in his forehead, I wonder what that was about.

Yes, the looks are absolutely stunning. And yes, Dark Urge is a kind of childish way to name a character smile

Red gem? Interesting. Could just be a ruby. Maybe a gift from Sardior the ruby gem dragon god? Thats sretching it, but fun to brainstorm :p

I thought he was wearing a headband and that maybe it didn't fit properly because of the model's head? So only the front of the headband was showing?

I don't know though. I didn't look closely. That was just the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the red gem on his forehead.

Thank you for bringing this up, I too love the Dragonborn. I believe the art department (all that were involved) knocked it out of the park. (American sports slang)

I hope the deep color used in the eyes are as bright for the other races as well. Once again great job Larian.

DRAGON FIRE-AND DOOM Dragons? Splendid things, lad-so long as ye look upon them only in tapestries, or in the masks worn at revels, or from about three realms off...

I am most impressed with how expressive the Dragonborn are. Their faces are just as animated as their humanoid counterparts with flaring nostrils and shifting lips. I was worried they would look more stiff and lifeless because of the lack of proper motion capture. I wonder how they did it. Did they put mocap on an actual lizard to capture the shifts in their nostrils and snout? Whatever they did, they did a great job.
