Personally, I think they should add two things. The ability to choose how many ability points you start with, and second a toggle so that you can adjust party size without needing to mod the game.

Can't you now choose the amount of ability points you start with?

If you are talking about racial abilities, then good news for you (and bad for me, but who cares..), the free stat allocation is very likely arriving in the release version.

I'm thinking more like the ability to start with say 31 points for point buy if you want a higher-powered game or 21 points if you really want to go low and gritty.

I would like them to use Tasha's cauldron of everything, and fix ranger's starting features.
