I would really like to have our quests in our Journal section be categorized. Such as main quests and side quests. As well as any other types of quest like quests that might be from our companions. I think this would make it easier to play through the game and prioritize what you want to do first.
I agree, journal is a mess and needs to be properly addressed with a way to manually move quests into the custom category, so that you could keep easy track of the quests you are most interested in.
I allways thought all quests are "side" ... Except for "get rid of tadpole" ... with that oddity, that even different ways to try that, are basicaly side quests.
I dunno, to me journal seems fine. :-/
I still dont understand why cant we change Race for our hirelings. Lets us play Githyanki as racist as they trully are!
I've always found the journal uniquely unhelpful. I don't know what it is but I just end up not using it, which is unusual for me in a game. It just... doesn't feel good to use. So any change that might fix that would have my support.

There are different types of “side” quests but most RPGs will categorize your missions. Such as main mission, story missions, non-story side quests. If you have companions, sometimes you’ll get companion quests.
