Now that we know about three of the antagonist, Im hoping there will be a main puppet master. Surely they wouldn't have spoiled the entire game before it even launched? would they?

I'm liking the theory that
all of the Dead Three are somehow involved, with each of our three antagonists revealed so far representing one of them
I hasten to say that I have no more evidence than any of you that this is what is going on. The sneak preview I've been talking about didn't give me any insight into the ultimate baddie or what or who the Absolute actually is. Or how the mindflayers are tied into any of it. I don't think we're short of mysteries despite the antagonist reveals we've had so far!

I don't think we're short of mysteries despite the antagonist reveals we've had so far! TBF with the last one being all about murder and that Bhaal symbol with her... No it's not that subtle. They are that. As for Mindflayers... maybe they are trying to stop them in the most convoluted way possible. Take bunch of powerful people, put this new brand of Tadpole in them and then take them somewhere to do hunger games where the best one wins and put every other in their brain to create the most powerful being imaginable to take care of those 3 loonies. Or... Maybe they try to do something like Bhaal did with Bhaalspawn? They put some weird new tadpoles in people that when combines will create some kind of super Mindflayer?

The evidence for that theory in game is pretty strong as each of the three villains carries not only the methods but the matching symbol of one of the dead three. Now all of that isn't exactly subtle as is but if you want total confirmation here's what Larian themselves said back in 2020 in the early days of BG3 before early access in this quote: "As we desperately seek a cure, we discover the tadpole gives us godlike powers and we find ourselves on the centre stage of a complot hatched by none other than the Dead Three: the gods of Murder, Tyranny, and Death."

AO Creates Shar and selune, they in there conflict of light and dark create Mystra. Ok you can research that if you want. So what is my point. Shadowheart is a worshiper of Shar (dark side) Why is Shar (as far as I can tell trying to Stop The dead three) Or.. she is helping the dead three. With burring the artifact that can stop their rise again. Murder mysterys were never my strength, Having fun with it. Just thinking out loud lol Oh one last thing, Has anyone else been in jail in the goblin stronghold? and not from killing anyone, I believe it was my first run through and Priestess Gut put me there I forget how. It hasn't happened since, to the point. Some mysterious stranger appeared and busted me out. WHO was that? Never seen them sense. ok im done
