Out of curiosity, how many dungeons are there in the Act 2 battlefield? Because I've been through three of them now and haven't found any bosses.

Well, that's different then. For some reason I thought there were only three. I've been through Act 2 before, see, and don't recall finding more than three keys....

could be wrong here...but i think that if you find the higher level keys (say battlefield 6), then it also opens the lesser levels (1 through 5). maybe that was the trick for you before.
also, six is what i had...but that may not hold true in all cases, with all games.

NO, there are 6 entries - I think, the monster amount and the lower levels are generated randomly, the ground level should be the same for all.

So if I go through one of the other entries do you suppose I'd find the boss monsters on the third levels or is it pretty much over for me?

Random means random.

You could find all five bosses/items in dungeon 4. Or you could find them all in dungeon 5 or 6. Or, far more likely, you could find some in each of dungeons 4, 5 and 6 if 1-3 were empty.

Six! I'm almost at the end of Act 2 and am about to do the 4th. I thought that would be it. I found a lot of keys, but I don't think I found 6 of them. However one did say 6. I was hoping this was a key for future acts. No such luck.

Obviously, I don't particularly like doing them but they are a good source of money and experience.

Yes, all 6 dungeons have only 3 levels each.

I just cleared out Dungeon 1 in Act 2 and had no boss at lvl 3. Just so I am clear about your meaning:

1. You are sure that the five(?) bosses/items WILL turn up eventually, even tho' they may not be one in each dungeon. Is it possible that a boss/item may NEVER turn up in spite of getting a specific quest to find the boss/item?

2. Are there only 5 bosses even tho' there are six dungeons, i.e., one quest from each merchant?

One boss and/or item should show up for each quest, but a couple people have run into problems finding a certain item, or completing the quest but not having the entry cleared.
