I finally finished the game. I wanted to thank everyone for their help and assistance with my questions, especially Arianna and Kiva. Thanks again. Now to play the game as a Mage. Thanks again.

Way to go! I'm on my second time around too, making my DK a mage, and my hero a fighter/survivor.

I finished as well ... playing. I can't finish the game. I tried everything.
Unlearn skills of DK. Put DK in overweight. Taken off all armature and weapons of DK. Sew battleground with scorpions. Etc., etc., etc.
Nothing helps. Can't kill Damian, even not hurt him.

OK. Now I can go back to work or play around with the kids

I didn't find it all that hard to kill Damien. Here's how I did it.

Spoiler : I used the hammer spell about 20 times.

Hope this helps.

Congrats!

Just to add my two cents, I didn't find it all that hard to kill him either, but in my game he never summoned anything to fight me. My arrows never did any direct damage, but I had a lot of points in piercing, and just whittled away at him with piercing damage until he died. He must be immune to poison, as I had a lot of points in that as well, and don't remember him ever turning green. Only used about 20 potions as far as I remember, but he missed me a lot because I had high avoidance. When he did hit me it hurt a lot, though. At least 1/4 of my health with every hit. Anyway, sorry to hear others aren't having such an easy time of it.

Many people find themselves more fighting bugs and the lot,
than the monsters in the game. So like me, i wont even touch
this game until Larian does something about a great many
errors in this game.

Until that time, i will avoid all products made by Larian.

IMHO the comment about Larian is unfair:

- yes the game was released too early (to follow DD)
- yes there are some bad system problems (still after release 1.46)
- yes (oh yes) there are some very bad design issues/poor game play descisions that need to be fixed (and I've added my own comments about this many times on these pages)

BUT

- it is a jolly good romp: just try it again - now you know when its going/likely to fall over treat these as undocumented features (you know like when MS do a new release) flakey but fun if you like that sort of thing.
