I didn't play EA but I almost can't hold my patience for the full release anymore and am on the verge of playing EA now...

Apologies for n00b questions....but as I understood, EA is only Act 1 correct?
So how much different will Act 1 be in the full game compared to EA? 90% the same? Or....?

I just don't want my EA experience to spoil the full game experience, that's why I never entered EA. If I play Act one in EA now, I don't want to feel like I'm doing all the same things again in two weeks when the full game gets released....

Apparently it will be very different from what we have now. Act 1 is supposed to have 33% more dialog and content, if I recall correctly.

Also, a lot of systems got changed... and not in way I like to put it mildly. So take that with a grain of salt...

Just know that your save files WILL NOT work on the final release. So use the next couple of weeks in EA to just learn controls, classes, char gen, etc. because you can't use your EA game saves in full release.

this is a Larian game... almost everything about how the game handles EA will change on release day

Just jump in and enjoy it - 518 hours in ea since day one & if this was all Larian did for the full release I’d still be happy - if you enjoy rpgs and d&d don’t even worry.
But do remember ea your save files will go on august 3rd
