Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Game Keys for early access

I have been racking my brain trying to remember and I have searched through the forums (for 30 minutes and with the search function) and have only recently seen someone post that COLLECTOR'S edition buyers will received their codes on July 26 (not playable until release of course) but has anyone seen or do you remember when those of us who just got EARLY ACCESS are supposed to receive our codes or is it just going to be like a massive update through steam of something?

As far as I understand it, the code is not relevant to those who have early access.
As we already own the game, we do not need a steam code to own it ..again.

The EA version will just transform into the full version (unless the wizards at Larian fumble their concentration check, I guess.)

Yeah, if you own early access you already redeemed your key in order to play that.

Those who bought collectors edition have their keys shipped with the box around the original planned release day - so they will be emailed earlier, so they don’t have to way for the physical copy to arrive couple weeks past launch.

I received an email yesterday saying my collectors edition serial key was being sent in the next few days and that they were going to be contacting me for verification on my address to ship the collectors edition. I also have EA Since first went live so no biggie on key but nice to see the box is coming soon!
