larian is obviously a studio that knows how to create superbly:
excellently modeled, rich and interesting world
detailed character models
visual effects
excellent graphics (items, spells)
music and sound effects
interesting and rich story and dialogues
map (in EA it was bad, but according to the last PFH it has improved significantly)

moderately able to do:
the user interface for PC is outdated (according to the last PFH), icons (items) in the inventory look too small
for the controller and probably the PS5 interface looks great (I don't understand why you didn't make something similar for PC)

catastrophic:
animations (character movement)
through EA they were bad, but I was hoping that it would be fixed with the final release (if they are fixed, they are still bad)
i almost enjoy watching bg1 character animations more than this in bg3
even in DOS2 the character animations were bad, but it wasn't that pronounced because there wasn't that much camera zooming
the animations in the video also look low-frame rate

when I see how games like God of War, Red Dead Redemption, Diablo3, Diablo4 have much better animations (and user interface), i wanna cry
when the characters move in those games you feel like you're moving with them, everything is fluid

and in bg3 I'm afraid to click on the screen because the character starts for half an hour and stops for the same amount of time, I have the feeling that top models walk like puppets on a tightrope, like zombies

you obviously need to invest heavily in the animation department, refresh the department or beef it up significantly

also in some segments of the game it can be seen that there has been over-engineering, sometimes less is more or KISS principle

I have spent 500+ hours in EA and I think bg3 is better than most games I have played, but I also think bg3 will be a top game with an outdated PC UI and catastrophic animations

I'd rather the game be released in a year with animations like in the above mentioned games and the user interface looks like the one shown for the controller/PS5 than to be released now with the mentioned flaws
don't let your eyes fool you

Yep, folk are welcome to give feedback at any time, including after the game is out!

But I do doubt that Larian are currently scouring the forums for potential changes to the game that is releasing in just two weeks, so it's better to think of sharing impressions at this stage being more of a conversation starter with other community members.

I'm sure past 3 August, Larian will be watching the forums to see what we make of the full game.

(PS I will move this thread to the feedback section)
