Harding was alright but she wasn't that attractive. I know. I just made her fanboys mad. The other two were good, though. Harding had a good personality, though. wink

Didn't Swen say in that most recent interview that although Larian would provide modding support for BG3, it would be very difficult to mod the game "bacause of how big and complex it was"? I am very concerned that good, critical mods for this game are going to be rare, if available at all.

Not sure what you mean by 'critical' but the relevance of the size and complexity of the game would depend on what the mod was trying to achieve. There are e.g. already mods which add spells and feats and which make rules closer to 5E.

Anything rules based should be fine.
Some for visual cosmetic stuff. Items. More spells.

However anything related to story add-ons/changes , dialogues, more quests, romances, more companions etc...definitely not happening (go to BG1 or BG2 if you want that).

It just reminded me of the bowl of goat's milk that old Winthrop used to put outside his door every evening for the dust demons. He said the dust demons could never resist goat's milk, and that they would always drink themselves into a stupor and then be too tired to enter his room..

More quests might be possible, however they would feel out of place as they wouldn't have voiced dialog or any cutscenes. But we'll see once the tools are released.

If they are critical to enough people they will figure it out. If no one does that probably means the mods arnt as "critical" as some think

Swen's answer was in response to questions about editing maps or creating new ones.

Critical mods, like those that bring the game closer to 5E, will most likely be entirely possible.
