So I grabbed the statue to see what would happen at the grove, and it turned everything into a civil war with 95% of the Druids attacking the Tieflings. (Annoyingly their bodies are red smirk ). Kagha and a chunk of her crew immediately teleport to the central cavern and start slaughtering the tieflings and I ended up having to strategically place my casters so that they could sneak attack with some AoE spells after reloading multiple times.

I don't feel like playing through more of EA with full release on the way, but does anyone know how it plays out at the goblin camp if most of the druids and tieflings are already dead? I'm assuming that unless you've completely wiped them out, Minthara's quest doesn't change much. But how does she react if they are all already dead? How does Halsin react to finding out that his druids are almost all gone (depending on if Kagha kills the loyal ones?

I always do the good ending for this one. Here's a hit, go steal Kaghas's chest

I don't know what happens if you do all of that prior to meeting Minthara, but I know she has unique dialogue for if you plan the assault and then kill everyone without her. I've never sided with her, I've killed her and the goblins off to resolve the conflict between the druids and tieflings, and I've also done a playthrough where I killed the tieflings for the druids because I despise thieves.

At least in EA, there's no meaningful difference that I've spotted.

at least in EA, if you're intent on snatching the statue for Mol, I wait until I've resolved Kagha's shadow druids situation. After she's accepted the tiefs can stay, you can grab it and talk your way out of being suspected. if you wait until after you've offed the gobbos, you've lost your chance. If you're only grabbing as a snack for Gale, then any time after either of the above conditions is fine

The only time i have tryed this, she had exactly same reaction as when you kill them together.
No change at all.

Weirdly ...

If you massacre whole Grove ... and join Minthara ... he goes for revenge and ambush you at night in your camp.
If you massacre whole Grove ... but also Goblin Camp ... he just tells you that you did what you must, and the Groove is still intact, completely ignoring that the scene is exactly the same.

Yeah, it's the worst possible outcome - see below:

If you let it play out, the Druids will kill all the Tieflings and then after a long rest
they will have completed the Ritual of Thorns and the Grove will be locked to you and have giant briars and puddles of poison blocking the entrances.

If you go to Minthara after this happens and tell her about it she will call you "incompetent'" and attack you. It's just an incredibly bad result all around.

This fails a lot of quests.
