I've noticed something of an issue with Bardic Inspiration. When cast on a character, you can choose to use it as a reaction or on every attack. Using it as a chosen reaction is far stronger, as the inspiration won't be used on useless attacks, but this comes with a big problem. For every attack you make while inspired, you have to go through the decision to use the Bardic Inspiration or not, even if there would be no benefit to using it.
For example:
You roll a 19 to hit an AC of 10. You're given the reaction choice, but the attack will hit anyway, you're told the numbers and there's no choice yet you still have to click no. It asking to use it or not simply wastes time. This may be a minor problem, but for a core class mechanic, it introduces a lot of friction to gameplay. It should only ask to use Bardic Inspiration if the inspiration has the ability to change the outcome, this would save on a huge number of unncessary decisions and make the class feel much better in practice.
This got very grating over a few hours, left over the course of the campaign it'd make me not want to use bard at all.
