Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General High Level Half-caster Spells???

Do we think that level 4&5 spells for half casters will be in the game? Obviously Rangers and Paladins won't be able to cast them if we max out at level 12, but I wonder if they'll be accessible at all...

For context, I'm planning one of my PC's to be an Archer Valor Bard, and in my head I've been planning to take Swift Quiver (level 5 Ranger spell) for my magical secrets at lvl 10. However, it just dawned on me yesterday that Swift Quiver might not be available as normally its only accessible by Rangers at lvl 17, and with no ranger being able to reach that level it could possibly get excluded.

Just wondering if we've heard of any high level half caster spells that are included to give us an idea if that would be possible...

Surely there is more than just one LvL 4 spell. O_o

I also cant see Shield in that list ... and according to Wolfheart it will be in the game.

That can't be a full list... there's no way there's only one 4th level spell in the whole game.

I don't know. I didn't actually *look* at the list. It's porbably that they took that image of 'the spells *added* to the full game, so excluding the ones already there in EA.

I looked at the list and it seems there is no Arcane Lock spell. One of the first things in the PfH was that the Lead Writer gave a spell list to the public which lacks a lot of spells - one of them Arcane Lock.

Ice Knife is missing too in that PC Games list... I really hope that is not the full list. I want to see more spells such as Vortex Warp, Tidal Wave and Pyrotechnics.
