Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Voiding EA in exchange for Preload?

Honestly I'd like to void my access to early access come August 1st if that meant we could preload the game, so at least I could play right at release time.

Wouldn't it be possible (I really have no clue) to just switch early access over to a beta channel, cut it off from the full channel and have preload there?

If Larian reads this: Please find a way for us european customers. 7pm on a thursday is hell. Looking at what could be 2h of download becoming 3-4 hours is more than likely and the game isn't even technically installed then.

Guys, just accept it. The release date for Europeans is technically Aug 4th.

Steam wouldn't explain anything like that to a customer, but maybe if a publisher asked if that was an option, they'd tell them. At least it's much more likely Steam would even answer that question, if Larian asked comparing to if I did it.
