So in the plethora of interviews and articles of the last days, did they mention anywhere how they will handle backtracking? What comes first to mind is the underdark/mountain pass. Will we be able to head towards the moonrise tower through the underdark and later go back to the mountain pass ( could even say while you ventured through the underdark the creche moved on and now there are only some wild animals left )? I understand that there will be mutual exclusive experiences in the game like "fight the gobbos or fight the druids" but at least we can visit both locations . It would be a shame if whole locations are locked off, since i really only plan to play this once like all rpgs.
No idea, but I'm equally curious about this.
Fextralife mentioned that somewhere in Act II he got a message saying he should tie up any loose ends before continuing, but he said he thought that might have come after the creche area, but he didn't necessarily recall 100% where it happened. That said, he still wasn't sure if the game would have allowed him to go back to earlier areas.
Or at least that's my understanding of what Fextralife said in regards to his play.
