Does anyone use these? The ones I could summon using the doll from act 1 were so weak that they weren't worth using. I know I can put some points into upgrading them, but is it worthwhile upgrading junk? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

I found a demonic doll in act 2. I haven't used it yet. I saw a tip when the game was loading that if these dolls die in battle they become even more useless the next time you summon them.

There is a delay before you can use summoning dolls again after they die (a few seconds), but there is no permanent penalty. Mostly I have used them as mules (to carry loot) and to trigger the occasional area effect trap.
