Hello,

I am playing through divinity original sin 2. I have had the game for years but finally found a friend to get into it. We are well into act 2 and I am loving it! But the aoe's for my spells snapping onto targets and refusing to let me place my spells in the best spot to hit multiple clumped up targets is really infuriating.

I hope this is not the case with baldur's gate 3! I am really excited to play once we finish divinity, a friend got me the early access some years ago and I really enjoyed playing the first act. But I have not touched it for years so I would not burn out replaying the opening to death.

Someone please tell me spells do not snap to target without an option to disable it smile

As far as D:OS2 - check key bindings. If I rember it well there is a button that will allow you to aim AoEs freely.

There is not such exact problem in BG3. It has its own quirks.

What Rag referred to are two spells that target specific targets (bless and bane withoutnup asting target up to 3 targets of your choosing) but for some unknown reason we have to aim using AOE, with the game choosing targets for us, within this AOE. We have an indication whom the game is targeting, so it’s a matter of spending time wiggling the AOE around, until the game targets units it wants you to target.
