I was recently replaying Early Access because I'm excited about full release and ran into Guts in the Under Dark to help him and he has an ability called Animating Spores releases spores onto a corpse to animate as a spore servant under your command which feels like a stronger version of Fungal Infestation for Circle of Spores druid: At 6th level, your spores gain the ability to infest a corpse and animate it. If a beast or a humanoid that is Small or Medium dies within 10 feet of you, you can use your reaction to animate it, causing it to stand up immediately with 1 hit point. The creature uses the Zombie stat block in the Monster Manual. It remains animate for 1 hour, after which time it collapses and dies. So my question is can we learn this power from Guts already or can we add it in where we can learn it since the power is already in the game

It's not clear exactly how spore druid will be implemented (it's unlikely to be exactly the same as PnP, since in PnP it's broke), but they will probably get something similar. Probably capped on one spore zombie minion at a time.

In PnP spore zombies have 1 Hp which would make them useless in BG3 as they would die walking. I would recommend a few changes to them, but we will need to see how larian homebrews them. Albeit suggestions ...

1) Gaseous Indignation: AKA ghoul fever homebrew: Enemies hit by spore zombie have nauseated debuff and -1AC and -1Constituion

2) zombies health = CR of enemy /10+ caster level +wisdom modifier. Eg: cr 20 enemy [lvl 8 druid, 18 wisdom] with 20 health zombie would have 2+ 8+ 4= 14 Health points.

3) immunity to poison, necrotic, and disease damage

Indeed, it simply wouldn't work if done strictly according to PnP rules. Not to mention your halo of spores competing with your zombie for your reaction.
