I launched BG3 this morning and saw this:

And because I've been one of the people to rant so harshly about the earlier mentioned time of 7pm Gent, I'm happy to do just the opposite in this case.

Thanks to Larian for trying to get the game to the fans as early as you can. If the Steam servers live through the release and everyone gets it as fast as their respective internet connections allow, thats awesome!

Oh, it looks like I get to start downloading two hours earlier than I thought. Still probably too late for me to start playing on release day, but guarantees I'll have it downloaded and ready to play after work on the 4th.

I will be up at 6am, walk my dog, and then be sitting in front of my computer with my finger over the update button!

I am hereby calling for an early ban on all accounts from Japan, Australia, and New Zealand as they will be a day ahead and thus have a 24 hour head start on spoiling everything for us

I'll probably get no sleep the night after the release no matter the release time lol. But it is nice to know release time so I don't have to sit around from early morning waiting for release

Anyone else find it odd that in 2023, we still have maps with Hawaii and New Zealand missing?

Maybe they got sucked into a parallel universe an no longer exist in our reality?

Anywhere I haven't visited may not actually be real and that also applies to anyone I haven't met. Someone online claiming to be from Hawaii might just be a sophisticated bot or AI.
