So, can anyone confirm the extra attack as a bonus action with Great Weapon Master?

I am wanting to take Fighter Champion for increased crit range and the Great Weapon feat should give me extra attack for each crit?

The extra attack you gain from the great weapon master triggers when you kill something. While critting does a lot of damage, it's not a guaranteed kill. Also you have to use your bonus action to do the attack. And you only get one bonus action per turn

So at level five. You can make two attacks every turn, guaranteed. If you kill something then you can use your bonus action to take another attack, for a total of three. Each of those crit on a 19 or 20, cuz champion

On your turn, when you score a critical hit with a melee weapon or reduce a creature to 0 hit points with one, you can make one melee weapon attack as a bonus action.

You still have only one Bonus Action tho ...
Maybe with diping into Thief?

My apologies. I really thought it only triggered when you killed something. Dipping into thief is really cool idea

As per PnP rules it should stack.


Where is does not stack in PnP is vorpal weapons, should any of these make it into the game. They sever a limb "on a natural 20" not "on a critical hit".
