Is it known if there is a possibility to upgrade weapons or armor with runes, gems, etc.?

Is there any information about how many rarities there will be in iteams? Are there legendary and unique iteams again?

Legendary items were confirmed for people who were on Gent event ... they have golden border around tooltip.
Just like Mourning Frost had in Grymforge/Sorcerer patch (that was 6 i think?).
We were told that they even seen one (and it was quarterstaff, i dont know anything closer tho).

We were also told that among green uncommon, and blue rare items we know from Early Acess ... there are also purple items, but im not sure if anyone confirmed what rarity they have.

Thats all we know ... as far as i know.

The number I remember hearing was 9 total legendary items in the game but none have been seen yet to my knowledge so we don't know what they are but if I had to guess I'd say Orin's daggers are almost certainly one of those items.
