Summoning the imp outside combat allows you to cheese any fight as long as there is at least 1 character stuck in combat preventing enemies from regenerating.

Step 1: Start a combat with just 1 character that's not your warlock
Step 2: Summon your imp outside combat
Step 3: Use the Imp's invisibility
Step 4: Send the imp to attack once.
Step 5: Repeat from step 2 until you beat the game.

I hadn't even thought of that. Good call. Pretty simple to fix, one would think. If your pet is in combat, so are you.

So... don't... do that? Like who has the patience or interest to actually bother, and how does that tactic existing impact you? It'd be dev effort spent fixing something that isn't a problem unless you choose to do. There's always going to be cheesy tactics that remove as much of the game as possible, this is just one of them.

Fairly sure it no longer works as your warlock will get pulled into combat- with the one exception where your so far away that you are beyond the engagement circle [is it 199m?] I remember in dos killing Alexander by chain teleporting him out of stealth into death fog on the ptherside of the map. Here's to hopping BG3 does not include such cheese.

Can we do something about these light sockets? Every time I stick a fork in them, I get hurt.

There is always will be a way to cheese the game, but it sound too complicated of a strategy. Its like looking for a pike structure in skyrim and arrowing down all the melee enemies from there. Kind of a cheese, but its too boring to actually do this every time
