Should I uninstall the early access version before BG3 releases on 8/3? (It's never been modded so all files are clean). Or should I keep it installed and just let the full release overwrite and/or update the early access version? I'd like to keep it installed, as I'm hopping that it will reduce the amount of data I have to download. EA version is around 60 GB and full version is around 122 GB, so I'm hopping that the 60 GB will count towards the 122 GB, effectively cutting the download nearly in half. But that may not be the case because a lot of data has changed. What's the best option do you think?

Yes, Larian tweeted out today to delete the early access version from your PC entirely including all save files and all mods. Here

You have to redownload the whole thing so you might as well delete the early access version once you're done playing it.

Ok, thanks. I was hoping I could save myself a couple hours of downloading by just having the full release update the EA version. Probably better in the long run to just bite the bullet and do a full clean install anyway.

That says to delete your old saves and mods, it does not say to uninstall the game.

Read the message below it.

It says to uninstall after deleting the saves.

Really helpful for someone like me who wasn't sure.
