Is there a way I will know it is downloading the right version of the game?

I would suggest waiting until Larian puts out some kind of notice that 1.0 is live. Or keep refreshing SteamDB and watch for the Public branch to get updated.

EA is 80gb the full game is 122gb, so required space should change when the game rolls over to the full version.

I am thinking that maybe the easest way to see quickly.
