When i try to untie Barcus, the game flickers ... and then crash.
NO error message, no nothing, it just turn off as if i press Alt+F4 (wich i didnt, duh).

Same goes when i try to reach South-East corner of Blighted willage.

//Edit: solved by switching to Vulcan

What GPU and system you got?
You got any overclock settings on anything?

Honestly?
I dont know ... i never bothered to remember whats inside my pc, nor where to find it ...

I would just presume if performance of my computer would be the issue, the game wouldnt run perfectly smoothly at maximum details ... or am i missing something? O_o

It's more complicated than that.
For example, some instructions sets that the GPU or CPU or whatever hardware processes are more intense than others, like the new AVX ones, they can put a strain at a specific place that can manifest in a crash.

Back about 3-4 years ago, I was playing dark souls either 2 or 3, forgot which one, and it kept crashing after 30-45 minutes, I could never understand why, did integrity checks, and everything, even tried fps cap.

In the end my GPU clocks were too high, it passed all my benchmark tests when I set it the year before, but on this one particular game it kept crashing. After downclocking by I think it was 100mhz on my 2060 super at the time, the game worked fine, didn't crash a single time after playing it for like 3-4 hours.

This can happen on hardware that hasn't even been overclocked, especially if you're electricity or power supply isn't great, the power supply may gime oure more unstable fluctuating voltages that can interfere with the minutia of the processing the GPU or the hardware in geneneral does.

This isn't 90s where 250mhz is the standard, back then with the lower clocks and when computers were more dumb, this stuff wasn't as much of an issue. Now to get such high clocks, and to keep them at that point, you have start messing with electrical fields, radiation, voltage fluctuations, because the higher you go, the more precise you have to be with the fluctuations and stability of everything.

It's pretty annoying tbh, especially since the manufacturers aren't really taking this stuff into consideration. After I had realised that issue with dark souls, a couple months later I bought a dedicated power supply, the ones that use the power from the power supply itself rather than mains, and from that point I was able to clock my computer higher than before dark souls, and it ran dark souls no problem as well!
