Posting as a question first rather than a bug, as it's possible this has just changed from early access and I've not worked out the new way it works.

However, in the druid grove I was pickpocketed, and only noticed the theft after it had happened, at which point I got the "Find Your Belongings" quest. The quest updated correctly up to the point where it said "We arrived in the thieves' hideout. It's time to get our stuff back." But then I got stuck.

Of course, it doesn't help that I'm not wholly certain what was stolen and therefore what I'm looking for!

Got the same problem.
Trying to run this quest Again couse at first time i did rescue beach boy from harppies and though that coused some problems.
2nd quest attempt step by step:
During the trade i had 1st perception abbility check succesull - (the hand gesture)
2nd abylity check failed - the one that let u cought thief at the act of the crime and prevent it.
3rd abylity check succesful - the one that you realize that you ve been robed.

Spoke qith the trader and the robber claiming that hes a guard - he revealed that Mol is his boss.
Going in to hideout by both ways ( hole after the ladder and/or doing Doni interaction with succesfull ability checks then long rest and then investigation and persuation succesfull after Doni reavels rumble entrance )
leads to Mol giving me 10 sec to leave or whole gang runs away. ( no dialog for give me back my stolen stuff )

After saving Mirkon at beach from harpies or after rescuing Arabella from Kaghda or both Mol starts to talk to me but still no dialog option for give me back my stolen stuff

I also tried to just pick the bag / pouch ( there are 2 bags in their cave - not sure in with bag or is it even The bag with my staff - in EA when Mol gave back stollen ilems there where in that bag / pouch ) so i was assuming that might work but still no quest dont end.
No dialog option with Mol to get stolen goods back and finish the quest.

Last idea is to mayby try steal idol to do all the quest for Mol and see will this gona change anything and finish the "Find your Belongings" east.
but tbh seems like bugged a bit by missing that one dialog option

Any news is there some workaround with this quest or the quest was changed from EA and now something more need to be done ?

Same. And I did try the thing you mentioned in spoiler tags and took everything I could, but honestly I couldn't remember what it was that I'd lost so I don't know if those were the items or not. The important thing though is that, yeah, I have no way to clear this as "Completed." No dialogue option that you are supposed to get.

Stealing a certain item from the druids didn't help me. I still couldn't talk to Mol about my stuff.

In the end I decided to just move on, and the quest completed once I'd sorted the situation at the grove, albeit with the comment that I'd not managed to get my stuff back. So at least it's not hanging around in my journal, albeit I'd have preferred to have completed it successfully.

It is starting to sound like a bug, so I'll report it and fingers crossed we'll get a fix for future playthroughs.

i was hoping that stealing certain thing would help, so now i can only ship "saving the grove" and go underdark and grymforge while praying for some super fast patch fix.
Funny this quest fast bugged for a long time in EA and now in full realise its bugged again , de ja vu :P
