The option to use TAA in dialog (and maybe cutscenes) but SMAA in gameplay would be an improvement.
Shadowing relies on TAA to smooth over dithering, so dialog looks pretty bad with SMAA.
Gameplay on the other hand has a lot of smaller details that TAA blurs out, making it harder to keep track of things.
Of course, some hybrid approach would be even better, but being able to pick based on scene type sounds like it would be comparatively easy.
