Can you smite or rage while in wildshape like you can in 5e? If not thats really bad as it makes what normally are the two really good multi-class options for moon druid now crappy.

I'm testing this now, but only scratched the surface.

I can confirm you can not initiate a rage while wildshaped. I haven't tested yet (will tonight) if you can maintain a rage started in caster form after you wildshape.

Edit: I can also now confirm you can maintain a rage after wildshaping. I also appeared to keep the benefits of my gear which boost my jumping because my bear form could almost fly.

From what I understand you don't benefit from the bonus rage damage on hit though while in Wild Shape...and honestly not being able to rage while in Wild Shape just sucks and makes no sense since its not magic.

I would assume then by the same logic Smiting won't work.

ie - This is extra crappy as Moon Druids absolute two best multi-class options are paladin for smiting and Barbarian for raging. Literally the only good multi-class option remaining is Monk IF unarmored defense from them works still.
