@Zerubabel Nah, while that weapon is pretty powerful it has a damage range. My weapon has infinite damage.
@Silver/ Think of it as a sacrifice to the gods in return for one-shotting your enemy(ies.) Not terribly dissimilar from a Disintegrate spell. Usually their loot is not worth several reloads to get. And I presume you're speaking of a certain modern day Netherese weapon system in your second post. If it's the wizard I'm thinking of, I'll keep them around for Thunderwave. Speaking of, it's far from the only way to use my weapon of choice.
That said, barrelmancy is alive and well in Larian games. Karlach just took out a beholder with a barrel of oil and flask of alchemist's fire she was carrying around in her, uh, bag of holding after Shadowheart successfully cast Blindness on it. Magic Pockets indeed...
