I cannot get into the mine. I also cannot get gregos to accept the dwarven ale. I have all other members. What did I mess up?

Wrong Forum amigo, this one is for Beyond Divinity. You might try the search function on the Divine Divinity Forum.

Did you get the quest at the Scrying statue to gather the Dwarven member Eolus? And did you talk to the imprisoned elf in his cell? After that, you should be able to enter the mine levels.

If the Dwarven mayor does not accept the ale - don't worry. Killing the sentinel, guarding a mine level gives more XP.
