Suggestion: allow accessing the inventories of non-party member companions while in camp, allow to retrieve items/gear when you forgot to do so before swapping party members.

Consider the following: I have Astarion in my party and he is carrying +1 Sleight of Hand gloves.
I go to camp, swap out Astarion for Gale, and continue my adventure.
When realizing I need those handy gloves, I return to camp to retrieve them.
Since I cannot access Astarion's inventory (AFAIK) without him being in my party, I now how to go through the hassle of swapping Gale back for Astarion, retrieve the items, then swap Astarion back for Gale again.

It would be a nice QoL improvement if it became somehow possible to access the inventories of every companion currently present in camp.

Something I wish was in the game and I've been struggling with trying to find and swap gears. Currently you have to keep running up to, dismiss current member, run to the one to recruit to check their inventories, what I'm trying to do is stock everything on Tav and Lae'zel as she has the most str initially.

I very much agree that easy companion inventory access would be great. Ideally some kind of overview similar to the party overview but for all companions in camp.

As an aside, there is a workaround for checking inventory and transferring small amount of items from non-party companions. Just go into sneak and pickpocket the companion, you'll see their whole inventory and (as far as i know) you can "steal" items from them without repercussions.

And if that's too complicated, it would be a great help if swapping companions was easier. If we just could swap in and out companions by dragging their portrait out and in, that would make things a lot easier.
