My understanding is that Auntie Ethyl is the primary source of Potion of Hill Giant Strength in game. It is unclear to me whether the potion can be obtained from her after certain events take place.

("SPOILER")
My understanding is that the party may confront Ethyl at the end of Act 1. The party can fight her, in which case she is killed or can be allowed to live and keep Mayrina in exchange for her hair. Alternately, the party can deceive Ethyl into thinking they will assist her in conducting her ritual but then betray her, in which case she will drop her hair and run away.

Following these events,

("SPOILER")
if Ethyl is still alive, can she be found in game, and will she sell the potion?

Otherwise, are there other vendors who sell the potion on a continuing basis?

No, if you attack her you lose her as a vendor. There are other vendors that sell them and you can make them as has been pointed out.

And to all the people who said the Potions wouldn't be in game and not to plan a build around them - IN YER FACE BOYOs! *takes victory lap*

There's a lot of dirty tricks best left for tactician mode. I'm happy to half ass a playthrough without most of them on normal first (fighting those gnolls fairly at level 3 is a no from me)

yea, having 20 hill giant potions that will last for 20 long rests, which should essentially see you to the late parts of the game is a bit ridiculous lol.

How quickly do these potions become available from vendors in game? Just wondering if this is something I should condition on when building a character or plan to utilize the respec vendor, Wither, once I reach a point in game where the potions become available.

Also, how much do they cost?
