Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Force DX11 or Vulkan to bypass pop-up?

Under BG3 Properties/General in Steam I've tried -dx11 and -force-d3d11...maybe one other, I forget was late 2 nights back I tried.

But nothing seemed to work to just auto-run the game in DX11 (or Vulkan) and bypass the pop-up choice? Am I missing an easy one here?

I don't know how to force one or the other...default seems to be DX11. You can skip the launcher with --skip-launcher

That works, 100%! Assume last API you used is the defualt...perfect!!

You can also run the executables directly in your bin folder. Unless Steam is very different from GOG, one of the executables is going to be named is bg3_dx11 and one is just bg3, meaning it is Vulkan.
