I apologize if this question has already been asked before.

After a quest where I had to kill all the goblin leaders, I got the Enemy of Justice debuff. I don't know how to remove it. I tried to kill the hero, and then resurrect with a scroll -> the debuff icon disappeared, but I was still an enemy for everyone. Although I don't understand why in the Emerald Grove, I'm considered an enemy after killing a goblin almost on the other side of the map.

Because of this problem, I can't progress further in the story and don't want to go through everything again.

Reposting this here from the Steam forums, hope the devs can fix this.
I got this debuff as well and can't explain why. Even broke my paladin oath because of it. All I did was in the
Underdark Grymforge
to
persuade some of the duergar to help me kill Nere.
No idea why this should coun't as an oath break and marking me as an enemy of justice. All I did was fight bad guys.

I've also recently picked up the Enemy of Justice tag in the goblin camp.

The game seems to treat some of the goblins as temporarily hostile guards (perhaps ones summoned by drums?) and it may have been killing one of these that caused the problem.

All I've done since is go back to Waukeen's Rest and then back to the Druid Grove, and noone there has been hostile so I'm just going to continue to see what happens. But that does suggest that your problem may not entirely be due to the tag as I've not got the same effects.

It may be worth submitting your save file with a bug report to Larian if you haven't already. There's a "Report a Bug" link up along the top of the game launcher that'll take you to the right place on their support site.

I could be wrong, but judging by the number of views on this thread, there are a lot of people who have this problem

I've noticed more than one occasion now where the game has neutral NPCs that turn hostile, but the game still seems to be treating them in some ways as though we're killing neutrals.

I had a similar thing in Grymforge, where after some of the NPCs turned hostile and the big combat started, some enemies were still calling out barks as though I'd attacked them when they were minding their own business ("If you don't stop, I'll set my friends on you" type of things).

The full release doesn't seem as buggy as patch 9 when it comes to how it's handling hostility as far as I can tell - that had various NPCs who'd turn hostile unexpectedly - but it definitely still doesn't seem quite right. I think the Enemy of Justice tag - which my PC still has - despite having died and being resurrected - is part of that, though I've not yet noticed any NPCs being hostile to me when they shouldn't be because of it.

I lost the condition on moving into the shadow-cursed lands, if that's any consolation.

This sounds like the same thing I reported in another thread: https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=885180#Post885180

Just like @The Red Queen says, other "guards" in the vicinity of the Grymforge fight with Nere end up aggroing, and their voicelines make it sound like the heroes are starting trouble, even though (in my case as well) I allied myself with Elder Brithvar.

As a work-around, I ended up reloaded a save from before the battle and making sure my paladin didn't personally finish-off any enemies. Felt somewhat unnatural to fight that way, but at least it didn't trigger a violation for my Oath of the Ancients paladin this time. :-\
