So I read somewhere before that being able to create a full party of custom characters would be available for full release?

Is that the case or not? I know there is a work around for PC where you can create a full custom party in multiplayer - but will that will be possible for PS5?

For me, I just want to be able to create a full custom party based on characters I've made while playing D&D. I really don't care so much for the narrative stories developed for the game.

Good question. I would also be interested in the answer to this but guessing it is a no if it is not available on the current PC build. Maybe it will be added at some point in the future as an update.

Unfortunately, you can't. This was something I really wanted myself, but alas it is not possible. So the way the hireling system works is that the you can only change their class, but you can't change their race and appearance. It is very disappointing.

There's a discussion about custom parties over at https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=876079 so I'd suggest that any discussion of changes to the base game to support that are kept to that thread.

I'll leave this one open, though, in case anyone has a view on the specific question conmcc asked about whether the workaround available on PC (pretending to create a multiplayer party) would also work on PS5.
