Once again I am asking for making this game much more immersive by adding an option to turn off the minimap and a filter for icons on the map. I have basically not played much as I am still waiting for answer whether it will be implemented or not. And to be honest, I am not enjoying being handheld in this game at all so my experience with BG3 so far was pretty unsatisfying.

I have created several topis regarding this theme, but only because I want Larian to notice this. I am not the only one, as ppl would definitely welcome this things in the game.

A great example is Tyranny which allows to hide the minimap completely, the map itself does not show anything handholding and even on the minimap a player can individually toggle off things like enemies, points of interest, loot, NPC, whatever so the player can be immsersed in the game as much as he really wants to be.

MAKE BALDUR'S GATE 3 MORE IMMERSIVE!!

  • NO QUEST MARKERS
  • NO MINIMAP
  • NO QUEST AUTOTRACKING
  • NO ICONS ON THE MAP
  • NO HANDHOLDING

Hi, as you say, we have a number of threads on topics related to this already, including the one you created at https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=104075.

I'm therefore locking this duplicate topic. We strongly discourage intentionally creating duplicate threads, and in fact encourage folk to add to existing relatively recent threads where possible and to avoid reposting the same thing over again too frequently. The forums would quickly become unusable if everyone did that for their own pet preferences!

Btw, did you know F10 hides the UI elements in BG3? I suspect that's more for screenshots than playing as I don't know how playable it is without the interface, but just thought I'd make sure you were aware.
