Hey i had a question, what does duration of weather spells do? When I use lightning storm( that doesn't use lightning but what the heck) it hits directly and causes one time damage, so what is the point in makeing it last longer? Is this damage increase or has it none or verry little effect?

The dolls: are they anny use? I have the deamon and the sceleton but don't seem to use them at all. If they level do they get skill points? Are there some cool dolls?

Dragon armour, is there some nice (practical) or cool looking armour and weapons in BD? like dragon armour, holy weapons (liked that one)? If you collect a whole set does it gave an effect? Is there a realy nice and cool blade or axe or what ever in the BD world?

thanx! xd

Dragon armour, holy weapons? I think we have a Gothic2 player here!

Don't know, i'm at the same level as you are, I think. I have skeleton and deamon, and never use them. Only as mules. You can pack stuff on them, and when they disappear, they keep carrying the stuff you gave them. Great for that. And sometimes I use them as "hitting-flesh". Line them up between enemy and me, so they get the first hits, and my mage and archer get time to hit the enemy.

Can't answer this one, sorry...

The dolls are only useful for carrying stuff. Other than that they last about a minute - if that - before you have to summon them again. And again. And again. Too annoying, so I stopped using them.

No cool armour, no holy weapon type quest, and whole sets do not give added bonuses. The best weapons are just good damage dealers with little or nothing on top.

Too bad sets of armor don't do anything. But now I know I can get rid of all that ranaar (sp?) stuff I've been saving

Dragon Armor and Holy Weapons were part of Divine Divinity, but no similar items are found in Beyond Divinity.

The dolls die usefully too - when you march them over inconvenient traps you wish removed.

I've messed around alittle bit with building up the levels/stats on the Raanaar Doll (Act III). It became so powerful that it was killing everything before my 2 main characters could even get 1 melee attack finished. My 2 main character are level 22, and the doll was like level 30'ish.

Basically what I did was: Used some skill points (about 8-9 points from each of my 2 main characters) towards "doll level" and "doll range".

P.S. If your dolls are un-summoning fast, its probably due to a low "doll range" skill. At range level-1 they can't travel very far from the spot where you summoned them. At range level-9'ish ... they can go miles.
