Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Game taking ages to get to start screen in Direct X 11

I'm nearly at the end of Act II and the game has started playing up.

For some reason it now takes about 5 mins to get to the start menu. The screen says 100% in the bottom right and it just stops. I hear background noise but I have to wait about 5 mins to actually get the start menu.

If I start in Vulkan this doesn't happen. It has only started since yesterday. Any ideas?
