Perhaps it's worth explaining exactly what issues you are referring to, or link to them if you've already posted them? I've not had any issues with running the game from Steam or with accessing the DDE items.
Also, if you would like an acknowledgement of your issue from Larian, then the best thing to do is to submit a report to them. If you can't run the launcher, then you can find the form on their website at
https://larian.com/support/baldur-s-gate-3#modal. I'm sure they're extremely busy and have many reports to get through, but I'm sure the support team would get back to you asap.
Particularly if you don't swear at them, which I don't think ever works as a motivating tool!
