i have 4 at the moment, and i have a weapon and an armor that have charm slots. too bad i can't take it out once i put it in then i wouldn't have to worry.
i hate to use up my charms, then find an better armor or better weapon and then deciding which to use.

But I was in the same predicament until last night. I had five charms, and I finally stuck a point in charms and used three of them. Maybe I screwed up...BUT WHAT THE HECK. It was so fun to use them. That's one thing about this game that is similar to Diablo (I'm sure everyone hates that reference) but this game, like that game...has the greatest items and those items REALLY enhance the enjoyment of the game as a whole. I LOVE MY CHARMS. Hope I didn't waste them...Hope I get more!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

I would hold out for white or gold charms before using them. Once you add a charm, you can't unadd it!

Earlier in the game, before getting the better armor and the better charms it wouldn't hurt to use some of the "wimpier" colored charms. If you have armor that you don't thing you'll ever change hold out for the better charms. I was quite dismayed when I "finally" found some very large charms and had no place to put them. This being just after I decided to put white charms everywhere...because "I was never going to find any better ones!"

ok, so i take white and gold charms are the best ones. i htink the weapons and armor i have are decent for lv10, but im sure ill find better, think ill use my lesser charms on em .,koo

If you have an item for a while and cannot find anything better, it's probably a safe bet you'll keep it for a while and it's worth charming.

you will find many more charms all over, lots from vetran orcs and i think some trolls have them too out in the forest, i think i've collected about between 15-20 charms so far some major and most minor hopefully i'll be able to find at least a few more to charm my 2 charm sword(blade)? of chaos <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

Trade with everyone you meet. Even farmers can have Spell Books and Charms for trade.

use crappy charms on the items you dont plan on using for long
but if u have an amazing item wait until you get some great charms for it
