I just organized my hotbar with all my spells sorted the way I like. Unprepared spells are there too and are properly greyed out, but it's nice that they have a "home."
However, as soon as I unprepare a spell to swap in another, it disappears from the hotbar entirely. Once I swap it back in, it places the spell back in a random spot I didn't want.
This makes ability management a real pain as spells just jump around in placement whenever I change up my spell list. Can we please have the option to leave spells permanently in the hotbar even if they're not prepared? Or am I just missing something? (I have the lock toggled on and it makes no difference).
edit: I see discussion from older patches that the game used to let you toggle "auto add/remove spells" in the settings. I don't see this setting anymore, but it also seems like it was bugged in the past anyway.
