Also i realized there is no Dragonborn hireling. Not sure about the sentiment behind this decision.

I was told there is a reason for it. I didn't ask further to avoid spoilers but I can imagine why.

No idea about the hireling. Maybe some NPC animation do not work well with dragonborn, maybe they want to use the model for something else, or maybe its something totally different.

I know we already have a discussion on this topic, but the only one I can find is at https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=876251, which I think was another duplicate.

If anyone has a link to the main thread where this was discussed, then please share. Not that I think there was an answer to the OP's question there, but I think it's helpful to keep discussion in one place.

I think the original thread you mean is the one I created on the 3rd of August. I made the new one you linked because I can't find the original either. I believe it's been lost due to the forum crash at that time, the one with the "Account Suspended" error message. My post history doesn't show it anymore at least.
