1.Swapping party members without having to go to camp. It's very tedious - you gotta go to camp, talk to one guy to remove him, talk to another guy to get him to join, leave camp.

2.Accessing inventory of the out of party companions. You gotta do point #1 every time you want to do that. Double tedious.

3.Autosorting options for the hotbar. Hotbar is just a mess, especially on the items side.

4.Having an option to make food go to camp automatically.

5.Having a descriptor for junk items. It's not right to have to hoard useless items only to realise later they've no use.

6.Making leveling up screen more comprehensible and without automatic choices like taking a subclass. It's just worse than what was in EA.

7.Having more information about weapon proficiencies and which weapon uses what ability score.

8.More tooltips and tutorials!!!! Only way later in the game I've noticed there's a tiny button to stop concentrating on spells. And that there's a switch button when trading.

9.Making companions AI avoid hazards. It was present in DOS games, where has it gone here? They're walking into detected traps and a hazardous spells and surfaces like total dumbasses.

10.Having an option to change hairstyles in camp.

About the first point, I’d argue that is perfectly reasonable to need to be at camp to change your party composition

BUT

you shouldn’t need to go through a dialogue with each companion to decide the new party composition before heading out.

Party control in Baldur's Gate 3 is a complete mess that begs to be addressed. SAY NO TO THE TOILET CHAIN

Agreed to all of those more or less, but "2" above all else! It's so f-ing tedious for me OCD a** to always have all my characters up to date on gear right now... at least let us manage their inventory via a dialogue option or something, if a total, all character screen isn't possible. The Pillars games had that (and party managment in general) down perfectly.

They should just make a a button with a separate window where you can click on portraits of companions you want to be in the party. Like it is made in many other rpgs before this one.

Solasta had a decent method for assigning party members: when you leave base, you're presented with a dialog and you and or remove who you want that way. The talking method we've got now feels very awkward, especially since most of the NPCs act offended when you want to leave them in camp. You basically have to meta-game to know that doing so won't worsen their attitude towards you.

All of these would be great! Very much hoping for ability to change hair and makeup on pc and companions at the camp
