Divinity OS 2 let you alter how Origin Characters looked. Idk the logic behind removing established features. Doesn't seem like a difficult thing either.

Yeah I wish we could at least change some basic features, like hair, horns, eye colors etc... nothing that would fundamentally change the Origin appearance, but at least to customize it a bit to our own liking.

For Shadowheart I'd love to change her hair for example, for Gale make him a bit more clean looking. For Karlach give her intact horns despite it cosmetically clashing with her lore. Kinda weird not to be able to customize them even a little bit.

Absolutely - I'd even like to be able to do this in character creation and then save origin character appearances so that even when playing a custom you have your own version of companion appearances. This seems less lore breaking than changing their class which is certainly much more tied to their narratives.

You may as well get the option to change the race and background, too. I know that might make it a little funny when Shadowheart the Half-Orc says "I'm a half elf," but it's essentially no different than her not being a Cleric of Shar.

Not being able to change appearance for origin characters is a big reason I don't want to play them as my character.

+1 to also be able to change our appearance mid-game!

I think they should at least allow for hair and make up/tattoos to be changed.
When I play as Astarion I am SO GOING to rid him of his anime hair via mods.
