I wanted to know if I had to turn in the merchant to General Bran? I did and he called me a cruel [nocando] I saved before so should I let him go or still turn him in?

you get more XP+1 rep for turning him in (and a biting conscience) - you get less XP -1 rep for sparing him (and a clean conscience) => choose. Kiya

I find that u should do what u think u should do, just think what u would do if it was for real, and not just look at all the rewards etc.

Correct, Merendrious, this is exactly the way I play - but as I don't know if the gamer is willing to pay the price for a clean conscience, I list up advantage/disadvantage and leave it up to her/his own decision. I skipped/refused quests myself I don't want to live with. Kiya

You probably know that in some rpg's there are those beggars always asking for money. And I always give them some money. And then u come at some spot where u don't have enough money . I still don't know if it is a good or bad habit.

Awwwwwww, I recall it drove me nearly mad in NWN => those beggars asking for money and I had NO option, to give them anything. thanks, Merendrious, you're making me smile Kiya

Or even worse, u also could do this in NWN, when u had done a quest, and u just reported it to the "talk to me to get ur reward NPC". Then u had the option to answer: "No need to give me a reward, it was a pleasure to do it". AAAAAAh!! I hate it when they add that option.

Remember before making your choice that both the General and the Merchant are followers of chaos, and therefore neither one is a rightious person. So by ignoring the unscrupulous acts of an already unscrupulous person you are contributing to chaos.
My decision is that they both deserve to die so I just let them kill each other.
Damn, it feels good to be rightious

And the cats?????????? who's going to feed them then? He had 6 "kids". Or are they chaos cats? Ok, all cats are demonic relatives <good, my Kessy is not reading this> - but still, Grim... Kiya

The cats are innocent victims being held hostage by the Merchant. In the evenings he is a cat juggler and gets free drinks at the local pub for putting on shows.
Everyone should rescue the cats and send them to Kiya's flat so she can take care of them.

Or are they chaos cats? Ok, all cats are demonic relatives But they are like, white cats. So they must be good, right? It's not like those evil black cats at serrick's tower who are basically just an omen of doom walking around and giving you the creeps.

Strange, I've always considered black slender cats as a pure symbol of elegance (little panthers) - whereas white cats, a bit vain. Nevertheless: I couldn't deprive any cat of their can-opener - I mean, killing would be too merciful for a Follower of Chaos - cat slavery is living hell Kiya
