Windows 11 and Steam Deck.
After the last patch, hotfix #3, that re-enabled cross saves quicksaves are no longer being limited to the number in the options menu. I have that set to 10 quicksaves max and had 45 quicksaves last night.
Additionally, all of the new saves show up in the "Synching..." state until you fully exit the game, at which point Steam uploads them to the cloud. I'm reasonably sure this only began after the last patch, incremental uploads seemed to be a thing earlier.
It's possible these two interactions are preventing pruning of old quicksaves.
An additional bug: prior to hotfix #3 the game would keep twice as many quicksaves as you specified in the options menu. I had that set to 10 and the game would keep the last 20.
