Bought BG3 yesterday and played it for 9.5hrs.
First, my game crashed with an error telling me I was running out of space, despite having 30+GB free.
I read Steam's cloud sync could be causing issues, so I disabled it.
I restarted the game and continued playing and saving regularly, using both manual and quicksaves.
Then, when I had to reload save, I noticed my most recent saves were gone. Lost about 10 minutes of progress so it wasn't too bad, and I continued playing.
Then I took a break from the game, and when I restarted a whole bunch of my most recent saves were gone, again.
I tried to load the most recent save that remained, but the game says the file is corrupt.
Reading online, there's about 5 different suggested fixes that *may* solve the problem.
Frankly, I don't have it in me to reinstall a 120+GB game, try a bunch of different purported solutions, and still not know whether I can safely save my progress for a game that takes 100+ hrs to complete.
Larian, please just tell me whether you know what the issue is or not.
