Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Raanaar Book Quest;;what next? (spoiler)

I've found the four books required for the raanaar knowledge, but I'm confused as to what I am supposed to do next!!!!!

I was expecting a message like the language books but nothing happened. Also, book 3 is backwards because of where it was found, does this have a bearing on this or am have I overlooked something?

You're missing the correct book - look in the mirror room - NE corner and use your mouse patiently. if you have found it - then search your inventory <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> - look into all sections.

Thanks Kiya, I finally found it on the N/E wall. It must have been right as I received a skill book. Kinda dissapointed when I got it though as I had all the skills listed (I think), I was hoping for something magnificent (or at least fireball!!!). But nevermind, job done. Don't you have fireball from Raven, Act 3 up to lvl 5 or from BF trader Elkar up to lvl 7, Act 4?

I will try to explain: In former versions (under 1.4er generation), the BF traders did not have these spells/skills, so books were very important. They have (nearly) lost they importance now, because trader skills were changed.

BTW, take care if you have alchemy lvl 4, not maxed it out and pick up the skill book in mage Markunthar's cupboard. This one only has lvl 2 and might reduce your level cap.

True - but cash was only an issue in earlier versions, too <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />
